Goosebumps!

Goosebumps is a book series created by R.L. Stein and was turned into a tv series in the 90’s + a couple of movies came out within 2015/2018. It’s a well known series haha, many people still love it to this day. Even though I wasn’t born in the 90’s, I’ve been collecting Goosebumps books for over 8 years. My bookshelf is covered with Goosebumps books!

It all started with Welcome to Dead House in 1992, where two siblings named Amanda and Josh Benson moved into a creepy old house located in a town called Dark Falls. Soon after releasing the first Goosebumps book, R.L. Stein released Stay Out Of The Basement, Monster Blood, and Say Cheese And Die! There were many books that came after Say Cheese And Die, but it would take a while to list it all.

There are numerous Goosebumps spin off series, such as Give Yourself Goosebumps and Goosebumps Horrorland. While these spin off series have unfortunately ended, the author still makes the original Goosebumps books! The series has been going on for over 20 years now and is one of the most popular children’s books of all time.

My personal favorite Goosebumps book is The Curse of Camp Cold Lake! Here’s the blurb that is on the book:

“Camp is supposed to be fun, but Sarah hates Camp Cold Lake. The lake is gross and slimy. And she’s having a little trouble with her bunkmates. They hate her. So Sarah comes up with a plan. She’ll pretend to drown–then everyone will feel sorry for her. But things don’t go exactly the way Sarah planned. Because down by the cold, dark lake someone is watching her. Stalking her. Someone with pale blue eyes. And a see-through body…”

Let me know what your favorite Goosebumps book is in the comments! 🙂
